PermitRadar

Terms of service

Effective September 11, 2026. These terms are between you, a business subscribing to the weekly owner report, and Melting Wax Studios, which builds and runs PermitRadar (permitradarhq.com). Contact: [email protected]. Florida law governs.

Plain summary: you get a weekly report of building permits in your area joined to the owner's name and mailing address. The first four weeks are free with no card; after that it is $349 a month per area, billed by email invoice, only once you have said yes in writing, and you can cancel any month by email. One business per area and per trade. We supply no phone numbers, and what you do with the list has to follow the law.

1. What is delivered

The Weekly Owner Report: every building permit issued in your area for the previous county week, as a web page and a CSV, emailed on Mondays. Each row carries the issue date, permit type and scope, site address, declared value, contractor, owner of record, owner mailing address, homestead status, last sale and year built, as published by Lee County Community Development and the Lee County Property Appraiser. Coverage is Lee County, Florida: the unincorporated county and Cape Coral. Names and mailing addresses only. The report contains no telephone numbers, mobile numbers, fax numbers or email addresses, and we do not append any.

2. Area and exclusivity

3. Free weeks and billing

4. Permitted use

The report is licensed for your own business use: reading it, mailing or visiting the properties, contacting the named contractor, and loading it into your own systems. You may not resell, sublicense, publish or redistribute the report or any list compiled from it, or share it with another business in your trade. The underlying county records remain public and nothing here restricts anyone from obtaining them from the county.

5. Your responsibility for how the list is used

6. The data, honestly

7. Removal of individuals

We remove any individual from future reports on request, and honour every exemption under Florida Statute 119.071 that we are told about, within one business day. See the privacy notice for how to ask.

8. Free public pages

The weekly pages under /permits/ and the monthly reports are free to read and to quote with credit ("PermitRadar, permitradarhq.com"); our compilations are licensed CC BY 4.0. They show no owner names or mailing addresses. They are informational, may lag the county record, and carry the same disclaimer as section 6.
